Le me take a #selfie

As some of you may have figured out my work at SCRM Cloud centers around Social media technologies and how we (as in consumers) use them to express things, publish content and engage in conversations.

The poster-child of all this must be the equally loved and hated #selfie.

As I’m working on my next guest post for the Brandwatch blog and really keen on getting some thoughts and opinions from my Facebook friends around the following:

1) Is it the technology in our lives, such as Facebook a Instagram, that have created the selfie-behaviour? Or is the technology just a facilitator for an age old and already existing urge to take photos of oneself?

2) If you look through your Facebook and Instagram feed you probably fairly quickly identify who is prone to publish selfies and who aren’t. What do you think is the persons driver and motive behind publishing selfies?

3) What’s the good and the bad about selfies?

Now… let me take a #Selfie!
