I tend to review the hotels I’ve stayed in at tripadvisor, mostly because I think it’s such a great website and I use it alot, hence I want to contribute to the community using it. As I’ve been writing before, it’s choking to see that some Hotels doesn’t even seems to know about tripadvisor. If you’re a hotel in 2010 and don’t monitor your online reputation, tripadvisor included, I wouldn’t bet my money on your future business.
I had a great stay at the Hotel Principi di Piemonte in Turin, Italy, last month. Hence I was positively surprised that I could a personal message back from the Guest Relations Manager. Now realistically, I will most likely never ever go back to the hotel, not because it wasn’t perfect but I for some remote reason would come back to Turin for pleasure, I would couch surfing. Nevertheless my experience and stay was close to flawless and getting a personal reply back just wrapped everything up nicely and tidy.
