The new Facebook groups has been live for a couple of weeks now. We all probably speculated in if it could be a serious tools for work collaboration and adopted by larger enterprises. Well, now there’s a serious competitor in the cloud to Google’s Docs, it’s from Microsoft (who has invested heavily in Facebook) and it’s simply called docs.com. Launched in April 2010 I didn’t know much about it until a few days ago when I read that docs can now be shared within Facebook groups… Voila, there you go.
Docs.com is definitely more powerful that Google’s version, and the simple login and connection with Facebook, we’re most of us has the majority of our contacts, makes me think this could be a killer thing.
